Turn the recipes you discover on social media into meals you actually make. Share a post that includes a written recipe, and RecipeCatalog can turn accessible ingredients and directions into a recipe you can review, save, and cook.

Bring your favorite finds, cookbook scans, and your own kitchen notes into one collection. Then plan the week, build a shopping list, and cook one step at a time.

FROM INSPIRATION TO YOUR OWN COLLECTION

From your feed to your recipe collection.

See it. Share it. Save the recipe.

Found something delicious on social media? If the recipe is written in the post’s caption, description, accessible comments, or a linked recipe page, RecipeCatalog can help turn that written content into a recipe in your collection.

Share the post or link through Android’s Share menu, or copy and paste the recipe text. You can also scan a screenshot, photo, or cookbook page, and enter your own recipes.

Review it, then make it your own

Check the imported ingredients and directions, make any corrections, and save the recipe with its source link. Add your own notes so a great find becomes something you can return to and cook again.

Find something worth cooking

Search by recipe or ingredient, filter by cuisine and type, and keep Favorites and Want to Try lists. Add your own notes, adjust servings, and share or print a recipe for someone else.

The written recipe is the key: imports depend on what the source makes accessible. Private posts, login-only pages, and restricted comments may not import completely. You can paste accessible recipe text or scan a screenshot instead. RecipeCatalog does not create a verified recipe from video or audio alone.

FROM SAVED RECIPE TO DINNER

A little help at every step.

Your collection is only the beginning. Bring the week’s meals, the groceries you need, and the next cooking step together.

Plan your week

Shop with a list

Pick up where you left off

Build a meal plan from your saved recipes and choose the servings you need. Keep your next meal connected to the recipe that inspired it.

Generate a shopping list, add your own items, and check things off as you go. Save lists for later and keep ingredient details organized.

Follow directions in cooking mode with timers and a clear current step. The latest build remembers unfinished cooking progress when you reopen the app.

A recipe worth saving. A week worth planning.

Explore your collection, open a recipe with its original source, plan your meals, and generate a shopping list. These are real screens from RecipeCatalog’s current Android build. Tap any screenshot for a closer look.

Your collection. Your next good meal.

Keep a copy you control

Create a full-data JSON backup of recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, settings, and cooking progress. CSV exports are available for recipe records. Store a backup somewhere safe; a full restore replaces the current app data after confirmation.

Helpful tools, with clear choices

Scan text on your device and optionally enable on-device AI assistance. Translate a recipe into one of 11 supported languages when you need it—translation uses Google’s online service. Always check imported and translated ingredients and directions.

Still growing, with home cooks in mind

RecipeCatalog is in development and testing. The screenshots above show the current Android interface; features and appearance may change before a public release. Have an idea that would make your cooking routine easier? I’d love to hear it.
