BUCKBOOK · ANDROID APP IN DEVELOPMENT
Every buck has a story.
See the patterns in your trail-camera photos.
BuckBook brings your trail-camera photos, individual deer profiles, and weather insights together—so you can spend less time sorting pictures and more time understanding the deer you follow.
From a new photo to a clearer picture.
Sync. Review. Keep the moments that matter.
Bring in photos from Stealth Cam and Reveal, choose a sync start date, and review new arrivals. Tap “Shooter!” to save a photo to a buck’s profile, or dismiss the local copy. Duplicate prevention helps keep the review queue manageable.
Get to know each deer.
Create named buck profiles with photos, age details, and notes. View images full-screen, share photos and profiles, and keep past deer in a separate archive.
Connect sightings with the weather.
Explore activity by time and location, with a focus on barometric pressure, temperature, and wind. Check today, tomorrow, and a 48-hour hourly forecast, with up to five saved weather locations.
Keep your field journal close.
Switch to dark mode, and use local backup and restore for profiles and saved photos. Schedule automatic phone backups and choose how long to retain them.
Built from a passion for the outdoors.
BuckBook is being developed for Android 8.0 and newer. Camera integrations and features are still evolving. Weather insights depend on reliable photo times and camera locations; they describe observed patterns and do not guarantee a sighting.
